Alison Brown
Alison is known for taking the banjo far beyond its roots, blending bluegrass and jazz into a unique tapestry that has earned her numerous awards including a Grammy, IBMA Banjo Player of the Year and in- duction into the American Banjo Hall of Fame. She is also co- founder of Compass Records, a leading independent label in roots music.
