An “introverted master of an extroverted instrument,” Butch has established himself throughout his 50+ year career among the best of the best. He’s performed in a wide variety of musical settings, most notably with the father of bluegrass music, Bill Monroe. His solo recordings continue to inspire new generations of banjo players around the world.
